Rain sets in later, snow over hills
Good morning,
One area of low pressure clears eastwards into Scandinavia, whilst another developing low moves in from the south-west.
A brief lull across the British Isles today, with sunny spells and scattered wintry showers, mainly around coasts in the west and north, then frontal rain returns to south-western areas, and becomes more widespread into the evening.
Heavy rain spreads to central England in the evening, and will give snow over the hills of Wales. A mix of rain, sleet and snow affects the Midlands into the early hours of Wednesday.
It will be chillier than recent days, with top temperatures of 4 to 7C.
Have a great day. Garry
